This is a page devoted to websites which give valuable information to people regarding American history and institutions. Understanding the history and institutions of a country can help you understand its citizens better and in turn better communicate with its people. I will adding sites as time permits. The  Miller Center is a nonpartisan institute that seeks to expand understanding of the presidency, policy, and political history, providing critical insights for the nation’s governance challenges.

The Miller Center is also an excellent resource to learn all about America’s Presidents from George Washington to Barack Obama.

With their section on “This Day In History”, history.com covers all aspects of American history from the earliest days of its creation to events which are shaping its future. This site includes numerous videos to educate people about different periods in American History.
